Delaney's First Timeout!

On the day that Delaney turned 18 months old, she celebrated by take her very first trip to time-out for not eating dinner, throwing her food and screaming and crying at the table. We had to keep walking her back to the very same corner that both Carter and Addie spent time in beginning at this same age. But it seemed to click because she immediately stopped crying and went off to play with Tiger, once she was released. (Like 30 seconds and ten pictures later.)

Addison, The 1st Grader.

She informed her teacher within the first two hours on the very first day of 1st grade that she would like to be called "Addison" at school and not "Addie."

Kids That Love To Get Dirty

We've worked hard to mold our kids to be outdoorsy and love to play in nature! Sometimes, it's as easy as buying a container of night crawlers and a bag of minows and letting nature take it's course with a one-year old! The results were lots of dirty fingers, fish and fun moments.

Lake Traditions

I love weekends of no TV, iPads and video games. The lake makes that easy and we are all so blessed by it and the long standing traditions we've made. The morning donut run by boat still wearing pajamas and the after dinner evening deer search by golf cart.
